Job Title: Public Health Outreach & Fundraising Coordinator

Job Overview

Community HealthCare Resources (CHR) is seeking a motivated and resourceful Fundraiser to support our mission of providing free and discounted healthcare services to individuals with economic need. This role is integral in raising the necessary funds to sustain and expand our programs. The Fundraiser will have the flexibility to employ various fundraising methods, including grant writing, soliciting donations, and adjusting pricing structures within affiliated clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising & Outreach: Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to support CHR’s mission. This may include applying for grants, engaging with the community, requesting donations from existing patients, adjusting service pricing, or other ideas you come up with.

  • Service Provision & Reporting: Provide a minimum of $500 per month in care to individuals in need.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Accurately record services rendered, corresponding CPT codes, and the value of services provided.

  • Timely Reporting: Submit reports on care provided by the 15th of each month to ensure transparency and compliance with organizational policies.

  • Collaboration & Recruitment: Work within CHR’s cooperative structure to connect with clinicians and assist in recruiting healthcare providers who align with our mission.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Passion for community service and healthcare accessibility.

  • Strong communication and networking skills.

  • Ability to identify and pursue fundraising opportunities.

  • Organizational and record-keeping skills to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Experience in fundraising, healthcare, or nonprofit work is a plus but not required.
