Our History

Community HealthCare Resources (CHR) was founded in 2019 with a mission to expand access to free healthcare services for those in need. Recognizing the limitations of traditional brick-and-mortar community health centers, CHR was established to create a more scalable and far-reaching model of care.

Beyond improving patient access, CHR was also designed to support conventional alternative medicine (C.A.M.) healthcare providers. Recognizing the financial burden many C.A.M. providers face—often carrying student debt comparable to their medical industry counterparts while earning significantly less—CHR offers a pathway to student debt reduction.

Through CHR, clinicians can dedicate 30 hours per week to the nonprofit, contributing their labor, clinic space, equipment, overhead, time, and expertise to provide preventative health education, and care to the public. Clinicians also have the job of fundraising to cooperatively help fund the programing of the organization. This is a job for clinicians and operates as an equal debt exchange reduction model, not a loan forgiveness program. By structuring the program this way, CHR delivers high-quality care and education at a fraction of the cost compared to organizations that operate standalone clinics.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, CHR is committed to delivering high-impact, cost-effective healthcare solutions. Through strategic partnerships and innovative service models, we strive to broaden the reach of essential health care while empowering the CAM professionals who provide it.

CHR is governed by a board consisting of 11 members from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. This diverse leadership team ensures a well-rounded perspective in decision-making, allowing CHR to effectively address the needs of both patients and healthcare providers.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide free, high-quality healthcare to those who need it most. By 2030, we aim to deliver $120 million in public service value annually. We collaborate with skilled clinicians to offer essential healthcare services and education at no cost, ensuring that individuals receive early care to improve their well-being. This approach not only enhances lives but also alleviates pressure on vital safety net systems. Through partnerships with clinicians and the use of private clinics, CHR reduces the costs associated with care delivery, offering 85% more public value per dollar raised compared to traditional brick-and-mortar free care clinics.

Independent Clinician Care Network (ICCN)

The ICCN, a CHR program, recruits independent clinicians to provide free and reduced-cost care to individuals with economic need. Clinicians deliver care under their licenses and liability, while using their facilities to minimize the cost of health and education services to those in economic need.  This model maximize public benefit. This innovative model aims to provide $20 million in care annually by 2030.
In 2024, participating each clinician delivered an average of $3,395 per month of educational and healthcare services. Economic need is assessed by clinicians to ensure services reach those who truly require assistance. CHR monitors the program through random on-site inspections, documentation and financial audits, ensuring compliance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and equitable care delivery.
By leveraging existing resources, ICCN reduces costs, expands access, and ensures accountability. This sustainable model transforms healthcare delivery, providing essential services to underserved communities while maintaining transparency and fairness.
